hi everyone

Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations.. having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... Just to be clear we dont have to talk about a posted watch ... this is a free flowing room on topics on vintage watches and things around watch collecting ... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Hear you at 4 pm EDT Sunday ....

Remember the Clubhouse room is only as good as the collectors that join in.... please post a watch you want to chat about.

Be Safe

Good Hunting

Hi

I got the bezel for my Depthomatic .... seems the crystal needs to be removed to fit the new bezel... so I will have to call my friend the watchmaker to see if he has time try to install it...

Complementing the All-Guard, here is a 1957 Conquest I used to own.

Here are a few watches from the estate of a 100 year old friend who recently passed away. He got them in Zurich in 1952/53 when he spent a year there on a research grant. First an Eterna chrono with a Valjoux 22:
The case is 38mm and lugs are 20mm.
Next is an IWC and I think this was the first watch that he bought there based on local recommendations:

The case on this one is 33mm and the lugs are 17.7mm
