Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations.. having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... Just to be clear we dont have to talk about a posted watch ... this is a free flowing room on topics on vintage watches and things around watch collecting ... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Hear you at 3:00 pm DST Sunday ....

Cool Bulova self winding 30 j no-date

Hello,
I have recently purchased a Chelsea 8 1/2" Time only Special Dial Commander clock, which I first encountered years ago on Chester Hicks' website, where it was listed as sold. Occasionally, I would return to his site to admire the photographs, now shared here.

After discovering it on an auction site two weeks ago, I successfully acquired this uncommon 1904 clock, retaining its original moon hands, restored special dial and featuring an oversized seconds hand, powered by an "F" movement, also referred to as Pilot House. This acquisition enhances my Chelsea Commander collection, and I am grateful to have secured it.
