hi everyone.

Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations.. having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... Just to be clear we dont have to talk about a posted watch ... this is a free flowing room on topics on vintage watches and things around watch collecting ... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Hear you at 3:00 pm DST Sunday ....

A sector-dialed tribute to the Paris olympiad
In tribute to the three iconic medals at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, this vintage-style timepiece combines gold, silver and bronze in a special celebration of Paris 2024. The unique design is directly inspired by a classic Omega wristwatch from 1939 that housed the famous 30T manual-winding small seconds calibre.

The 39 mm brushed case is crafted in Omega's exclusive Bronze Gold, with a polished bezel, and a vintage Omega logo embossed on the crown. Behind the domed sapphire crystal, the dial is made from Ag 925 silver, with a “Clous de Paris” pattern at the center and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. In even finer detail, there is a circular brushed pattern on the minute track and subdial minute track, as well as a dark grey vintage Omega logo. The 18K Sedna™ Gold hands have been given a special PVD Bronze Gold coating.

On the caseback, the “BG 859” engraving is a reference to Bronze Gold, as well as the shape of the case. This follows the "CK 859" and "OT 859" references used in historic technical sheets. There is also a stamped and frosted medallion with a mirror-polished Paris 2024 logo featuring the iconic Olympic rings.

Customers will receive this timepiece inside a special presentation box. It is worn on a brown calf-skin leather strap, featuring a sandblasted Bronze Gold buckle with a polished vintage OMEGA logo in positive relief. Inside, the watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8926, crafted with a special luxury finish.
