hi everyone

Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations.. having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... Just to be clear we dont have to talk about a posted watch ... this is a free flowing room on topics on vintage watches and things around watch collecting ... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Hear you at 4 pm EDT Sunday ....

THINGS WITH SPRINGS CH CHAT 07/24/22

Remember the Clubhouse room is only as good as the collectors that join in.... please post a watch, timepiece , clock etc you want to chat about.

Be Safe

Good Hunting

I am sort of new here. Is this chat thread something that lasts over time?
I am sort of attempting to organise and look over my collections. Not sure if I have any day date versions. I did dig out my least favorite constellation. (not sure why that one is I think the calendar gave me a lot of greif.

Not so vintage but a new addition to the collection, Louis Erard & Alain Silberstein collaboration. It’s based on a Selita 7750 clone. Here’s Alain Silberstein old and new, 1995 Kronomarine Rattarpante and the new collaboration.

This belonged to a deceased watchmaker friend that could use a cleaning before passing it on to his son. Well loved in the past and pretty dirty.
