hi everyone

Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations.. having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... Just to be clear we dont have to talk about a posted watch ... this is a free flowing room on topics on vintage watches and things around watch collecting ... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Hear you at 4 pm EST Sunday ....

I was lucky enough to catch the Zenith Exhibition at Phillips this week and was also invited to a meeting by Greg Selch. Lou_s and Romain Marietta from Zenith . We chatted and we had show and tell of our collective vintage pieces and the new zenith 135-o prototype that Romain had ! here are some pics and the watch is stunning …

Speaking of unusual modern Zenith watches, I photographed this guy in 2019. It’s factory product based on an antique small box chronometer movement in a sapphire case, and it’s huge. The smaller watch is a 16 size Zenith pocket watch movement that I recased in an wrist watch case
