hi everyone

Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations.. having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... Just to be clear we dont have to talk about a posted watch ... this is a free flowing room on topics on vintage watches and things around watch collecting ... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Hear you at 4 pm EDT Sunday ....

Remember the Clubhouse room is only as good as the collectors that join in.... please post a watch you want to chat about.

Also all 4 of these watches have the same movement. Along with millions of other watches, just Paneri yanked all of the chrono complications from it...

A tribute to a late 70’s American micro brand and Holocaust survivor Oscar Waldan. He started his namesake brand in 1979 and bought up a large amount of mechanical movements for pennies on the dollar during the quartz crisis that he put into his watches. Prior to that he worked for Tissot and Universal Geneve as a designer. The Tissot Navigator was his design. He created private labeled designs for Tourneau and other luxury brands. His son is now running the brand and releasing some new designs. Here’s a couple of classic designs, a 7751 base in platinum and an El Primero astronic in rose gold.
