The very sharp looking serial number is missing a digit. The case looks buttery to my eyes.

The A277 are among my favourite watches.
I would like to hear an opinion on this Movado cousin please.

I have seen quite a few online and they seem to have all different hands so it is hard to establish which ones are the correct ones. I don't have a shot of the movement but I can request one.

What do you think of case/dial?

I’ve never seen it with the gold colored subdial hands. If you notice, the subdial hands extend past the edge of the subdial indicating they’re too long for this watch. They likely belong to a A277 mk2

 

Gold subdial hands are legit. But in the case of the Most recent post with pictures, the fact that the subdial hands pertrude into the main dial hinted at bad replacements.
