Just saw this before bedtime tonight. If it was not in Spain I might have gone for it. Will see if it is still there in the morning. Have too many projects as is. Just the idea of attempting to restore this stimulates the creative muse.

Still there this morning. The seller even made me an offer of a few bucks off. If it was located domestically I might be tempted. Shipping is not worth the headache. When I impulse I want it NOW.

I had some misc Seiko parts, which did manage to sell on the bay for a few pennies. I think I will hold out for something more complete.

This watch may be too far gone.

Get thee behind me temptation.

Anything can be restored (or copied.) The issue is the costs. The deal breaker on this one is that the watch is in Spain and I am in California on the opposite side of the planet.

I also have several other projects which are more practical.

It does become about the process, and the video of such things where others do this is amazing and entertaining. It is equally fun (at times) to to this oneself. Although some of the parts get quite boring.
