Others will have better photos to post but fair to say I enjoyed today immensely ... thank you to all concerned. Even if you're sleeping it off already.

For those of us not of the UK... What is the Yorkshire GTG? Looks like a plethora of pretty pieces presented...

    Howdy @jimmyd13

Did I see you take a few close up shots?
Would be good to see a few of them if you did.

I didn't want to go sharing other peoples' watches without permission (as these GTGs grow, you never know if someone might object), plus I've been running around non-stop since that weekend ... which is not kind on old knees.

I'll be happy to post some of the snaps later unless any of the attendees ask me to keep theirs private.

I've been told to go ahead and post photos from the lunch but I'm going to start with this one that I was handed at Berry's:
    IMG_20190803_1211453.jpg
Continuing the Patek theme, here are a couple you're unlikely to see side by side again.
    IMG_20190803_1730479.jpg
One is a lot heavier with much shinier indices than the other ... I'll let you work that one out for yourself. The Nautilus never really floated my boat until I handled one. Over the past few years, they've really started to call out to me. Maybe another 25 years and they'll be "vintage" enough for me to get a steel one.

Oh, and this yellow thing was there too ...

The rest you can thumb through at your leisure:

The dealer in me started to put some values on the table ... but I soon stopped counting and just enjoyed.

Patek made a decent showing; there were some gorgeous vintage Rolex; Omega was there in strength but it wasn't just the references or the quantity, it was the quality of rare watches - superb condition and more than a handful with boxes and papers. Seiko's showing really got me into rethinking the brand (again). Finally, there was a smattering of rare pieces from VC, JLC, JeanRichard and others.

GTG's r the best. Those boxed Connies----Be still my beating heart. Nothing wrong w/ a Seiko & I see some stunners turned out in force w/ the Seikos.

Some great watches on show but can’t say the same for your photography skills. :)

I looked at a Samsung 10 the other week .... It makes me sad to think that my BlackBerry is the last one they'll ever make. I just want a modern phone with a mechanical keyboard :(
