And by "worst" I mean "douchiest".

It's just difficult to understand how something like this can make it's way out of someone's head to a drafting stage, into production, into a display case and then finally on to someone's wrist. There are just so many stages in this process where something or someone should have intervened, raised a hand and said "WAIT ...everybody stop. This watch is actually horrible."

Oh wow. No...this makes sense. EXACTLY the watch you want if you need to keep a low profile and just blend in.

Again. How something like this is conceived and then brought into a physical reality in some way that is (presumably) economically viable....boggles the mind!

 

Bit OT - did anyone else have a Sigue Sigue Sputnik flashback hearing that advert? They had this paid advert (and some others - some real and some not) on one of their albums back in the 80's...

I dunno man.... I walk past the watch counter in the Hudson's Bay store every now and then and the Boss and the Diesel displays have entirely new levels of awful on display every time..... this thread may never end and I don't think my stomach can take it.

 

In terms of looks I think Hublot's Only Watch of 2015 ranks amongst the ugliest I've seen...

 

....then again, most Hublot's fall into this category.

I hear you – the difference might be that those are extremely cheap watches. These from JACOB & Co. are, from what I can gather...not especially cheap. And Arnold... in @jens0125's post above is probably holding half a million USD worth of absolute garbage.

 

Yeah, thats sick. And makes like Arnold and Son are new makes with no relationship to the name they carry. I don't know whats worse, dragging an old name through the mud or coming up with a fresh name and then trying to plant some fake history on it by naming models after famous cars or aircraft and gluing a piece of crap under the back cover like Bremont does. Just built good watches and build your image on that.... it'll be more respected.
