Wow. I had a huge grin on my face watching that, and there was a moment near the end that got me a little worried for a second.

I’m sure you’ve experienced this too, in a multitude of arenas: you’re observing something that’s outside of your wheelhouse, but nonetheless, you think to yourself, “Geez, I could have done that...easily.”

When I was watching this, I thought, “Geez, there is no freakin’ way I could EVER dream this one up...”

And I was also thinking that I have a similar amount of junk lying around to use a building material, so there's no excuse for my lack of creativity.

Not to get too thread-drifty here, but...

This always amused me. You go shopping for a Rolex, and the sales guy says, “Look: we can offer you two models - one is precise; the other is a Superlative Chronometer. Greta, the lunch lady downstairs, checks the first one against her desk clock. If it’s close, we put it out. The second one, we actually certify the accuracy. Which one can I get for you?”

Awesome is appropriate here. I was convinced it was recorded with a drone until the last frame.

Classic Rube Goldberg machine. He used to do a comic that would show a complicated procedure to do a simple task (he died in 1970). People still use the expression 'a Rube Goldberg machine' to criticize an overly complicated procedure.

Looks like they run summer camps for kids.

The X-File Episode "the Goldberg Variation", one of my favorites.

Great video to start the day.

Thanks for posting this nice video!

    A bit more arty:
Der Lauf der Dinge (The Way Things Go, 1987) from the Swiss artist duo Peter Fischli and David Weiss.
