If you've not seen this it's an amazing documentary and well worth watching! The full film is available on Netflix UK.

amazing documentary.

It's almost like these 2 incredible guys were destined to meet and work together.

I read somewhere the waiting list is around 2-3 years for a R.Smith, and that's if you can even get on the list! 馃檨

I was really excited watching that preview then log onto Netflix and as per usual, Netflix Australia doesn't have it and the only DVDs appear to be region 2.

I've emailed the filmmaker about availability overseas, who knows maybe there are some other channels I'm not aware of, but damn the whole licensing and distribution system behind the film industry is genuinely frustrating.

Without defending piracy, it still boggles my mind that studios and distributors make a big deal of the fact that Australia is one of the piracy capitals of the world and yet you watch a trailer for a film you want to see and have cash in hand only to find nobody willing to take it off you. Such is life in Australia.

Not that I condone such action, but you can also proxy or VPN to wherever it is available on Netflix... Still, I agree it's more than a bit annoying when they region limit content and don't give people an alternative to get access to it.

Netflix will detect the VPN and block anyway.

Hmm, I guess it's been a little while since I last tested it out then.

I found this buried in the Netflix docs section the other week and meant to make a post about it - looks like I've been beaten to the punch 馃榿

If you are expecting a lot of actual watchmaking to be depicted, you will be disappointed....I was...oh well.
