I was rather exited to view this piece today. My first 'straight lug'!.
I have '67 and a '69 220 bezel, so typically thought this was my lucky day. I should say I probably could still get it but would like to know any thoughts from the chaps that 'know'. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg
Straight lug case 'surround': Found it to have been filed open to 20mm
    DON bezel: Not too bad
    Hands: Original but degraded
    Case Back: 145 012 67SP
Mov't: 26078*** , put back on so can't picture but extremely nice. (Unbelievably)
    Dial: Think it's a B2 close T. Perhaps around '65?
So as you can see, a complete franken

Would be interested in views as I probably can still get it. I assume I should just price it for parts, perhaps with the view of acquiring the later case surround.

All said. What a mess, welcome to the future of Premoon Speedmaster offerings.
I personally wouldn't entangle in this kind of project, in the end it's just what it is. A assembly, no matter how hard you try.

As with everything, all depends on price. ;)

So some moron thought filling the insides of the lugs was preferable to filing the endlinks?

Wrong dial, rotten hands, butchered case...

Not sounding an overly attractive proposition

Very sad. There is no single piece of this monstrosity that would ever play a starring role in a finished watch, so I think you could find much better starting points for a project.

There's "rough," and after a couple more levels down, I think this watch would show up.

It is hard to say whether you should get it without giving us a price. You can probably sell it for parts if you are really hard working.

Parts of value would be the movement and caseback. Dial and hands to a lesser extent.

The case is worth nothing after being filed.

For the right price I'd buy it for parts

I'm afraid I just do not understand why anyone would want a watch - any watch, in that condition.

Vintage yes, if its been well loved.

This looks like its been kicked around on the floor and hacked up by a buffoon..

I would also step away from this one! If you buy it and try to rebuild it, it is mess and still ends up as build-together watch without any charme and history. And this is what we all look for! A charming watch with great history. I would buy a watch which is not "perfect" if I like its charme and history, thats completely depending on your flavor.....
But I think you can't really "like" this one at all......... --> and finally the killer argument is the case which has been filed
