Found this at an estate sale and had to have it. I don't know why.... Something about it drew me to it. It seems like a fun watch to wear on a casual day. I can't tell if its the ugliest or most interesting watch I own now. It was made in 2009 and only 125 were made with none to be found online anywhere... Would you all wear this "art piece" lol?

That’s a negative ghost rider. The pattern is full. Maybe I just take my watches too seriously but I can’t see enjoying such a ridiculous thing.

Not my preference either. This looks like something Swatch makes for kids.

Maybe if you're visiting an art exposition or something like that. It could be an interesting piece as a conversation starter!

I wore it as a joke today and it's my most complimented watch by far without a doubt lolol. No one has ever complimented my watches before and I've had people say the watch is fun and different, I still think it's ugly in a cool way btw

It's a great style for someone else to wear.

I like it and can see why you had a must have moment, I'd probably buy it if it was the right price.
Normally this style of graphic would feature on a kids watch but of course at a kids watch size this one however is an adult size with given it's Movado parentage means great quality giving us as adults the chance to be kids again in an adult world.

I'd wear it. It's like when you find something so ridiculous at a thrift store that you have to get it and wear it around just to see how everyone reacts.

But, I mean, I wore this the other day if it makes you feel a vague sense of comraderie.

There’s probably good reason that none are to be found online anywhere……..they probably only sold one of the 125, the other 124 are forgotten new old stock sitting forlorn in some warehouse somewhere!

I googled "ugliest watches" and trust me, I'd take yours in a heartbeat over some of them out there.

Like this one for instance 😉

I think it should, Looks like the tennis ball on one of my snoopy watches.
I think this was a timex thing.

I am finding hard to not like ugly watches. Ironically blingy gold watches are not my taste.
I have a box of pin levers, Sheffeild, Louvic, Lucern, Heritage etc. These are as ugly as sin. Not sure why I keep them.
Same for bracelet cocktail watches. Benrus, Helbros and other cheap looking things.
Perhaps that is it some watches simply look cheap.

Watches what were overproduced and are often seen or grouped as job lots. I see a lot of this on shopgoodwill. What is weird is the prices some of thes go for. I guess they are looking for that cherry in all the whipped cream.

I really dislike expandable spidel bracelets. I keep thinking I want to use them as aggregate in some concrete. I keep thinking I should do that with some of my junk movements as well.

Not my style either. My son picked this 1998, Apple/Fossil Beatles Hard Days Night watch at an antique store the other day. It still has the protective sticker on the back. I wouldn’t wear this one either, but I do find them mysteriously cool. Enjoy your watch.
