Always funny to see. This is now: https://www.bonhams.com/auction/306...graph-wristwatch-chronostop-ref-5861-c-1950s/ (the reference should be 5681 btw). Curious to see the caseback. Confusing remark:'Please note that Longines confirmed that the road arrow symbols were later added.' This may refer to the NAV remark from WOK (see below).

And this was it 10 years ago: https://www.invaluable.com/auction-...ined&queryID=8a559a132df3e74add304c7f4fdced9e Remark: case marked G.I.A. NAV. 33.

Interesting enough both listings do not mention the date of delivery. This will have something to do with the fact that the caseback is not original to this watch :
  • Case is marked: 54
  • Caseback is marked: 43
  • Movement is from 54 btw

Thanks for sharing.

Quite a poor attempt at creating something that appears original.

Perhaps they meant with road arrow the British military sign. Interesting to see that - in that case - Bonhams does not seem to recognise it. More interesting is the fact that the original - correct - dial was swapped for a WWW(?) one. I have this execution in white and would gladly swap it for the original black dial. For sure not a perfect example but still a very nice one

They probably ment broad arrow. In Norway we call it "kr氓kefot" as in crow foot鈽猴笍
