Oh boy, I wouldn’t have thought one could make a generic two-stitch strap even more hideous, but this one succeeded. And 107 Euros. 🤦

Please leave it to Hodinkee to sell overpriced straps. You're better than this Fratello.
Also, the straps needs more Speedmaster branding on it.

I dunno,,, While “Speedy Tuesday” isn’t a really big deal to me, the Space Shuttle is pretty neat.
I think this is the first thing I’ve seen that’s “shuttle-centric” for the Speedmaster and is widely available.
Kinda cool for us kids who grew up in the shuttle era, vs everything Apollo,

Not sure about the “widely available”. It sold out in minutes…
The overall design doesn’t do it for me (at all!), but I agree it’s nice to see the space shuttle.

Ah… well there you go: the answer to how many people actually wanted one.

I never associate the space shuttle program with the Speedmaster. Anyway, they sold out pretty quickly so there were fans. I just think there are so many options for ST1 that are more attractive. The star of the show is the watch, not the strap.

Space Shuttle. Speedmaster.
Speedmaster. Space Shuttle.
Space Master. Speed Shuttle.
Space Speed. Master Shuttle.

I appreciate Robert-Jan‘s work very much and enjoy reading on his page, but this strap didn't turn out very well. I can't imagine that it will be a big success.

Well it's sold out, so I think it was certainly a success from a sales standpoint. Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate that others may like it.
