i have fancied an orange planet ocean for a while, but I am worried about the thickness. I have the latest 600m the one with the quarter orange bezel only 3 months old, but I am unhappy with the thickness.
Could any one tell me which is the thinnest planet ocean I can get preferably the 45mm but not necessary.
    Thanks

2500 and 3313 are the thinnest by far.

    I’ve got a 3313 45.5 and I can’t wear the 2nd gens as they are too thick.

I don't think any Planet Ocean is going to be considered thin.

Maybe Omega can offer low calorie diet Planet Oceans that are under 10mm thick!

1120 SMP is ~11mm, 2500 P.O. is ~13.5mm. Even the 2500 PO feels fat next to the SMP but it sure is a nice watch. I have the 2201.50 and various SMP models.

The 3313 POC is under 18mm thick oddly the same as a Speedy on a leather NATO. 20mm nato in background for reference.

At least on my wrist the first gens wear thinner as the bulge sits between my arm bones. The 2nds are taller with a wider bulge for the clear caseback.

I’ve had a lot of people comment after trying on my 45.5 that it wears smaller then you would think. That being said in a non Chrono I’d get the 42mm 2500 in a heart beat and plan to add a black bezel white number one to my collection.

They do the 3313 movement in the XXX.022 Speedmaser case you know, it is exactly the came depth as the 1861 movement models (give or take 0.1mm) at around 14.5mm. Its not the movement that makes that PO chrono fat!

Agreed the 3313 is tiny. I’m just using it to denote the first gen PO Chrono.

It’s actually funny how small the 3313 movement is in relation to the case. I think it was in 34mm women’s watches lol.

    Only D 27.6 mm, H 6.85 mm

I wish I didn’t click this thread because I’m sensitive about my POs weight. :(

Omega could had made the PO slimmer as the 2500 AT (2500 coaxial movement) is about 11mm; they just went for the thicker is better philosophy, which was a mistake IMHO

Yes the 321/861/1861 is similarly tiny and will also go into a 34mm case. This was demonstrated by the smaller Chronostop models which use the 865 variant.
