With the most recent addition to my collection the project now spans 50 years of use of the Omega Speedmaster in space by astronauts and cosmonauts. Here is the complete 26 piece collection in chronological order from 1965 to 2015.
That's very cool. I'd be happy to send you Al Worden's book on his experience on Apollo XV, Falling to Earth.
Saw this first on collectSpace and started to suggest you post to OF as well. Of course you were a step ahead! Fabulous collection and commitment, and also love the backdrop homage to the lunar module.
This is easily the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, and if I ever try to say otherwise please refer me back to this.
With the extra time on our hands it was time for Neil and I to take the opportunity to update the panel with the two recent pieces from Sullivan and Altman. The bottom row was adjusted to add them. A place holder was added using an inoperative instrument cover from the Apollo Command Module for a lucky last astronaut to add a piece to the collection. The shuttle missions now cover all 5 space flown shuttles and are labeled.
