    Hello!

Yesterday I bought a lovely vintage hand wound Eterna from 1963.
I am really happy with the purchase, but the rather big crown annoys me, so I would love you know, if it's possible (and easy) to get an original Eterna crown that fits the watch?
The serial number on the back case is 4888048

The low lighting pictures don't do the watch justice, btw!

An Eterna buckle is also something I am looking for, but it has lower priority :)

I might have a period correct buckle somewhere. What width do you want, 16mm ?

Well I eventually found the Eterna that I have, but the strap on the 12 o'clock side is missing. I don't remember taking it off, but perhaps I already passed on the buckle to someone else. Looking at the other side, the buckle would have certainly been 14mm anyway, so probably too narrow for your Eterna. Sorry I couldn't help in the end...

While i am still searching, does anybody knows what kind of caliber is in this, or what this model is called?
The ref. on the back of the watch says 4888048.

    OP,

You need to open the case back and take pictures of the movement so members of the forum here can help identify the movement (or caliber) for you.
