How many Speedmaster owners knew, from the thread title, that this is a post regarding the daily ritual of winding a Speedy?

Granted I've only owned it since January. Nevertheless, every time I wind my Speedmaster a smile appears on my face. I love the daily ritual of sitting down with coffee and winding my Speedy. The burly feel of this watch is like a block of gold. As a matter of fact, a block of gold probably feels like a Speedmaster to the enlightened. That's just a guess, since I've never held a block of gold. :)

Continue to have a nice day.

A ritual thread without pictures this early in the morning is not exciting... :)

I've had a Speedy Pro 3 different times. For whatever reason this time around it's finally grown on me and stuck. Who knows what the future brings loll but all I do know is that this time around I've really enjoyed wearing it on a daily basis. Winding it in the mornings makes me feel bonded with it and I wear it daily now... not just because I've come to really appreciate it... but also because I don't want to break the continuous running of the watch record that I've beaten from previous pieces. It's kind of a cool feeling to know that the watch relies on me to keep it going =)

I think that although I missed the UG Nina boat, I am fortunate to have caught the 321 boat just in the nick of time. image.jpeg

I'm assuming that this man is also winding his Speedmaster daily as he looks rather happy. ::rimshot::

What reference do you reckon he has ?

Do a lot of on call work and could be up anytime from going to bed to 6am normal wake up time. So miss the ritual a few times here and there.

Why is it i always notice the Speedmaster has stopped when you need the time for something important.

Your Speedmaster was made by Murphy.

Lesson learned: never wind your watch with your incisors :D
