    Hello,

    I had some fun last saturday going at the first James Bond expo in Paris.
    So here is the real James Bond Seamaster , just for fun ;)

    Never knew there was a James Bond expo..would love to go to one! Thanks for sharing this..would be cool if they had the original 6538 worn by Sean Connery too :)

    Some of the veteran members will remember several years back on another forum there was a phase when someone (I'll refrain from mentioning who, as he might show up here....:oops: ) claimed he "discovered" the "original" watch worn by Ian Fleming. I can't remember a topic that caused more discord on an Omega forum than that topic....:(

    From the Omega Museum. It's a little thicker than normal, so maybe the precursor to the 8500? ;)

    You know, I have a feeling they might have faked it. The mechanism underneath that ran it doesn't look like any of my own death-rays.

    During the visit, My girlfriend was telling me 'but what are you doing ? !!!! There is so many picture to take and you spent 10 min trying to catch the watch of the fake guy at the poker table ??? Really ??'

    Haha, I meant the prop! After all, the "real" watch in the movie didn't have a wire attached to a mechanism underneath the caseback :)
