You have to wait until the bidding is over - sometimes all the action occurs in the final 4-5 seconds. I would not be surprised if that were the case with this watch.

You are right. I overlook this very important aspect and it can come, at lightning speed.

    Thank-you.

yep, the one I missed out on jumped almost a grand in the last 5 seconds. I've even seen BoR SS bracelet jump from $30 to $120 in the last 5 seconds.

Condition isn't as nice as the one I picked up dial wise, that one was $4250, I'm guessing this one goes 3750-4000

Someone might just bid $40,000 in the closing seconds too! :)

The price at $3 000.00 does not seem right, for such a highly desirable watch in this top condition. You are right, it will jump.

    Thank-you.

Price ended up at $3050. Pretty reasonable. I think this just shows that condition is very important in valuation.

Though not as nice as yours but at this price of just over $3 000.00, it is a give-away I think.

    Thank-you.

I was tempted to throw $3500 at it but the only thing that makes it cool is the dial, and that is just a bit poor in this case.

Good idea passing. I'm pretty sure you won't be satisfied with it when comparing it to your two other examples.

Yes, especially considering the date at 3 full rotor versions of these are the least rare.

Perhaps you meant date at 3 that don't have the stepped piepan dials because I think those are just as hard to locate as their cousin stepped dials with date at 6.

Yes, the smooth sided dials - not the step sided ones. Thanks for clarifying.
