For those of you who haven't seen it yet, and who admire this lovely watch, some of the Good Folk have been at it again, with more great content

    https://www.omegaploprof.com/

Thanks to all involved for yet another great resource...

    Good info. Thanks for sharing.

Here is mine. Second owner watch. The extract indicates delivery to Belize in 1972.

Ploprof - the vintage Omega you'd least like to get beaned in the noggin with!

NFW. They're surprisingly comfortable despite how bulky they look.

Exactly why my wife hates this watch. I have accidental knocked her with it a few times. But really it was my modern Ploprof I knocked her with, I'm not really sure she knows I have a modern and vintage Ploprof. It's her least favorite watch.

It’s very comfy especially on the mesh.

And a still not everything revealed. The history is also more than interesting

Totally. It’s also more gangster than a Tommy Gun. I am surprised those hip-hop-twerkin-gangsta-rapper-stars haven’t figured it out yet...perhaps because they didn’t make a Ploprof in gold...

    Killer site!

60% movement swap rate? Wow that’s bold.

    Not yet she doesn't B.

    :cautious:

Dear Mrs A, I have some interesting information regarding "a watch" that you have seen B wearing. If you or B are interested in learning more, please call me at 1800 PLO PROF.

Note: This isn't blackmail or watchmail, it's more like an........................"information auction".

The PloProf seems to be the watch that gets the owner(s) the most trouble from their wives. Ain't that right @watchknut?

Has that to do with the fact that it doesn't look the same as all the 117 Speedmasters and Rolex GMT's stashed away that usually pass as the same watch?

"Whoops! Sorry honey, I didn't mean to bonk you with my Easton again. I promise not to swing it in the house anymore, particularly after you make a few snide remarks about my increasing waistline or how long I've let the remodeling slide."

I just showed her both watches. She truly had no idea I had two Ploprof watches. She literally thought they were one is the same.

I'm assuming she thinks I only have one speedmaster. Of course she would have no idea what a Speedmaster watch looks like. And at this point her level of interest in watches is that I spend too much time taking pictures of my watch and browsing this message board.

To the OP. Who published the site you posted? It looks to have much more info than the other ploprof site I have seen. So glad to see a update.

Ok I read it fully and can see why this is sure. I’m sure he’s seen many extracts, and given these are tool watches they would have received factory service often.
