The latest addition to the Aqua Terra range is the Ryder Cup model . As with most of Omega's entry level range it has been upgraded to include a Master Chronometer movement an Omega Caliber 8900. In its most basic form I understand that this Aqua Terra model is circa £4000 ($5,400) on a strap and £4150 ($5,500) on a steel bracelet. When you consider that this watch, at circa £4,500 ($5,950) comes with both the strap (with end links upgraded from steel to 18k gold) and the bracelet. Even cheaper if you can pick it up Duty free at an airport outlet. The face has accents that tie it to the Ryder Cup, this watch seems great value and an honest olive branch to watch all lovers who also love golf and less like your run-of-the-mill limited edition cash grab which we tend to see more and more these days. The original Aqua Terra range are all cool watches, and this fella seems to tick all the boxes in terms of heritage, style and value IMO! So what do you think ? It’s certainly going on to my Santa list .

Personally speaking I rather like it. Enough colour to be noticeable but without any overt branding/tie in on the dial side (I'm looking at you, 007 Seamasters :cautious:)

All in all, a  from me.

Not a fan. Don't like those gold accents and don't care about golf LOL

I like that. Have to say I'm not usually a fan of this range but something about this ticks a lot of boxes.

I like it for the most part, minus the gold end links - I'm looking to put the blue strap with steel end links on my AT Golf Edition. I think the blue strap fits well with the blue hands on the watch.

Not the biggest fan of the gold end-links as I feel its a bit extraneous, but I do like how the horizontal striping is less 'busy' than the newer ATs, certainly helps maintain a clean look. I do wish the dial was an enamel one though, that would be pretty!

I'd give it a pass. I don't see the relevance of a watch to a golf event...that and a 50% chance of really not liking it after the tournament ends.

I like the face of the watch, white with blue pops. Like others have mentioned, I am not a fan of the gold end links to the strap

I like it except for the gold bits in the end links...I mean, it's a watch for a guy with a lot of watches...you're not going to buy this as your daily wear, are you?

Switch out the band and you’ve got something really nice there. One of the nicer moderns I’ve seen.

I like it and I’m definitely not a golfer ;) it looks very well on the blue strap with great contrast that makes it striking without being ostentatious. Understated class maybe?

As a golf fan I am automatically interested. I really like the band and also the subtle use of gold. If I was not strung out on Rolex sports models and Omega LE’s I would buy it.

Golf balls have "dimples" or whatever they're called in the golf world. I'm wondering about a white dial with dimples of tbd size and density. Thoughts?

have fun...Drive for show. Putt for dough.

They did that with one of the previous Ryder Cup Edition AT's. It looked OK to me - I think they should have gone with bigger dimples.
