the 'O' in constellation piepan dogleg

Hi,

I have 2 questions concerning constellation piepan/dogleg as follow:

QUESTION 1:
Noticed the 'Os' in the word Chronometer is slightly narrower then the O in Automatic - for piepan dogleg (as in Example 1&2), while the piepan with sharktooth (not dogleg) has both Os the same size and width.

Anyone can confirm this is as per the original specs?

QUESTION 2:

Taking the dial from Example 2 above, should one be concern with the star above 6?
Seems to me it shows some signs of being reglued. what do you think?
