Meh. Doesn't do anything for me. If they had a 38mm version with better execution of the subregister overlap.... No, still meh.
I tend to agree. I love a Panda dial but it doesn't work well here. The white dialed version would have been improved by different shades/colours of black and grey sub-registers. The black dialed one looks a bit better but for me, now, every dial like this is a poor man's #ST LE. Oh, I am not a fan of black cased watches either.
I like them, but not a fan of the black case. The white looks best IMO. Compared to the standard tri-color classic I don't think this is better. But it may appeal to those that like a more monochrome palette.
I will renew my plea for a new XL Primero movement, to cure subdial strabismus and overlap on modern-size chronos.
100% agree - the overlapping here becomes a liability and ends up looking ridiculous... how do these things get past the design stage? And how do the designers get paid? Ridiculous....
I love Zenith but not these ones, I agree with most of the previous posts. I do prefer the 38mm cases and please in steel.
It's 50-years tradition of this model. But one interpretation called "Classic Cars" is not overlapping.
Right - don't get me wrong, I love it in the tri-color models ... that's a classic - but to adapt that to one color makes no sense to me....
