...BTW, Is Ms H wearing the watch she did at watch school?
Affirm...she’s wearing her ETA 6497-1 Phlieger that she built at AWCI...and I’m wearing the one I built at AWCI on my right wrist. 👍

I’ve loaned watches to several people. Including some members of the forum. Why? Because I trusted them. I haven’t had a single problem to date.

Do I recommend it? No. But hey, to each our own.

And I’m not talking inexpensive watches either. I loaned PO, AT and sub mariners.

I also gave away some antiques on one of the OF NYC gatherings. I just figured someone would enjoy them more than me.

And no, please don’t PM me 😀

1. Who? Wife
2. What? My Submariner 16800 and my GMT 16710
3. When? Several times but latest last week
4. Where? Copenhagen, Denmark was where the proces was initiated. Where wife took then I don’t know
5. Why? Sometimes wife feels that she needs something with a little more heft than her 31mm Datejust.
6. How long? Usually a couple of hours for a dinner but she has worn them for several days sometimes.

And then there are the jokers that want you to give them a “nacho watch”...like this Griz882 joker over at the Naval Aviation forum that I frequent...so...you know...you gotta shoot those jokers down in a quick-like fashion. 👍

My daughter

Omega Connie f300

3. When?

Just for one evening at a time

4. Where?

When we go together to dressy events. Plays, usually.

5. Why?

Something fancy for her to wear. She likes to hear it "singing" and it doesn't have to be set.

6. How long?

Goes back in the watch box at the end of the evening
