I enjoyed subsequent viewings more than the first, also.
I was intrigued by that watch when I first saw the film in the theatre. It seems to have escaped Bond watch expert Dell Deaton's attention, completely.

I think because of Omega's commercial lock-down of the Bond film enterprise, we can rule out any non-Omega candidates. My first impression is that the watch in question is a chronograph with three sub-dials. The angle of the watch in this scene is such that the chronograph pushers may be just out of view. I think a vintage Cal. 321 Seamaster is a viable candidate, and is consistent with Bond driving away in a vintage car.
The contemporary Deville chrono can be ruled out because it only has two sub-dials. A contemporary Aqua Terra chrono could also fit the bill, but my money is still on the vintage Seamaster.
