Saw the movie again last night on cable, better than the first time for sure.

Anyway at the very end as he drives off on the Aston Martin he is wearing a.... White dial gold watch woth subdials on a black smooth leather orange rubber strap that has no clasp but some kind of star pattern buckle? Doesn't appear to be a chronograph though.

I would think maybe a Deville aster coaxial but I don't see the chronograph buttons and the strap and clasp?

is it a Longiness? Same family and M wears one....or is it a Vaucheron Constantine.

I can't stop the image well enough so this pics is all I have. Surprised the Bond gigs are not directing this. the last are possible contenders but on wjat strap?

I enjoyed subsequent viewings more than the first, also.

I was intrigued by that watch when I first saw the film in the theatre. It seems to have escaped Bond watch expert Dell Deaton's attention, completely.

Here's a screen capture from my Google Play account:

I think because of Omega's commercial lock-down of the Bond film enterprise, we can rule out any non-Omega candidates. My first impression is that the watch in question is a chronograph with three sub-dials. The angle of the watch in this scene is such that the chronograph pushers may be just out of view. I think a vintage Cal. 321 Seamaster is a viable candidate, and is consistent with Bond driving away in a vintage car.

The contemporary Deville chrono can be ruled out because it only has two sub-dials. A contemporary Aqua Terra chrono could also fit the bill, but my money is still on the vintage Seamaster.

I dunno, Sergio. I just watched the scene again and it looks more silvery to me than gold. But it's such a short view -- less than a second. I think this is something that Dell Deaton should go to work on. He has contacted property masters in the past and it's Spectre's property master who would really know what the watch is.

Here's what I could get of the strap:

The view of the strap lasts less than a half-second and is mostly a blur on my computer monitor. Your guess is as good, or better than mine :)

Could be this but I can't see how those pushers would remain hidden

Well, if it's a vintage watch, couldn't it have the chrono pushers on the left (out of view), while having the crown on the right (in view)? IIRC, the Heuer Calculator had that configuration.

Alternatively, could it be a monopusher in the crown?

    Interesting story here...
I noticed that watch during the first screening, and still haven't been able to identify it...
I was talking with Raynald Aeschlimann a few weeks ago about Spectre...

The Story of the "Limited Edition"....

The plan all along was for the SM300 (standard edition) to be THE Bond watch... (Which makes most sense from a sales perspective, and has always been the strategy)
It was Barbara Broccoli's idea to make it the gadget that saved him...
Because of its upgraded role in the film/plot, it had a big 'close up'...
Sam Mendes apparently disliked the divers bezel on the big screen shot, and insisted on changing the bezel... A few different designs were made, and the "LE" as we know it, was the one he chose...

So it all came down to Sam Mendes's aesthetic preference...
Omega then made the 'LE'... But burned by the '15,007' AT, decided on a more conservative number...
The AT was also contracted to be a watch in the movie..41mm because of the AT bond.

So, I asked him about the watch in that final scene....
    His response: "what?"

I would hope that it is an Omega out of respect of the contract and history...
But it might not be... Certainly Raynald had no knowledge of a 'third' watch...
I'm sure the mystery will be solved with some higher resolution pics...

I agree that it looked vintage...
Could be from DC's private collection

I would say that the strap definitely has an Omega symbol on the buckle.

And my vote is vintage, - how about the 101.010? There is a pusher in one frame I could see, but it is oblong - so not a standard round pusher, but rather something like this. The lug shape appears to match, and it is period correct for the DB5 as well:

But I'm pretty sure it is in steel:

Hey Doc, nice to see you on here (I'm watchmywrist @IG)

This seems most plausible-or how about a stunt double's watch?

For anyone else that wants to play along, here's the clip on Youtube:

Start at :42 seconds in. You can also play the clip in 1080p, and at 1/4 speed in the settings. I think it is a modern Omega buckle strap on a vintage steel 101.010.

I guess it could be steel. Not sure why I keep seeing it as gold

I see a sub-dial at 3 o'clock and a crown(or perhaps a pusher) at 4 o'clock, like the way it is on Seiko's. But his glove could be obscuring the crown and top pusher if it is a chronograph.

So was there a definitive answer as to what watch bond wears at the very end of Spectre?
