equipped with movement cal.289 - 10 1/2’’’ - 23.2mm Worldwide smallest chronograph movement ladies chronograph 26.0mm with Compax diameter 38.0mm
Nice pair, the ladies version is a lovely watch for the other half. The perfect vintage choice for the discerning WIS widow. Was it Universal or perhaps Angelus that produced another very small chronograph movement of the same period that was oval in shape?
Really excellent example in stunning condition. Ex park I believe. But I think that was meant as a movement for a man's watch.
The baby chronos are sweet! They were (and still are!) quite a technical feat. Consider that most modern women's watches--even by high end brands--use quartz movements a half century later.
More pics: https://lorologiese.com/product/uni...-red-gold-ref-12102-mini-chronograph-cal-270/ Movement is actually a 270 (and not 289)
In general, the smaller it is, the higher the technical value. The market often seems to forget this.
Talking about UG baby/ladies’ chronos, here’s a pair of mine Compur 22102 cal. 270 Uni-Compax 22110 cal. 289
