If I’m not mistaken, the king of the Netherlands also wears Omega.

It’s actually a very Elvis-type watch with the “Over the top” diamonds but still a beauty....I’d wear it!

Elvis was quite the watch lover. As well as the brands already mentioned, he also had a digital display Lord Elgin:

Plus several Mathey Tissot watches (which he had personalized and gave away to his 'Memphis Mafia', friends and family as a kind of exclusive symbol of being in his inner circle)... among many other watches. One source claims he owned over one hundred! From my research, his extensive collection also included a gold Bulova, a gold Lucien Piccard, two square Longines' (one with a black face, one with a diamond bezel and clasp), a Waltham pocket watch, a gold Corum, and a diamond accented Hamilton which Elvis received in exchange for the diamond Omega.

Personally, I don't feel that the watch which claimed to be Elvis' Omega Constellation is the real deal, and if it really was worn by Elvis then at the very least it's not the one in the photographs which were supplied as provenance. It's definitely a black dial Omega in the photos, but the case shape looks more 503 Seamaster-ish to me. The lugs are thick and have flat rather than the concave shape a Constellation of this period would have, there's no star visible under the model name and not enough lines of text to be a Connie.

Although it's not concrete proof, the picture of Elvis and Priscilla with Tom Jones suggests he was a bona fide watch enthusiast and not just buying watches because he had money and wanted to know the time. Only an enthusiast would be examining a watch somebody else is wearing, they're things which go largely ignored by the average person on the street.

I'll bite. My guess is $62k, USD or Swiss francs, take your pick. :)

    C'mon folks, pick a number!

[FWIW, my wife says she'd wear it.]

Mathey Tissot, Lucien Piccard, Longines, Corum.

This made my day. Now that's a man with good tastes.

There are also a couple of 2998s and a Cosmic triple-date moonphase in the same auction.
