...so on trend, so accessible, something about being the watch equivalent of a 911 Porsche... blah. Helped Charlotte's mum to drop off Charlotte's Dads Patek Calatrava (which I'm not allowed to borrow/wear/breathe near) for a service, and had a huge geek out with their sales staff here in London. Really knowledgable, really nice, heck, I'm not a prospect, and they were still lovely and accommodating. Oh and if anyone wants to be on trend before Hodinkee decide what the trend is: Yours for just £181,000.00 Cheap enough that you should just get one for each day of the week...
Hey, if you're going to wax poetic and start a new watch rave, at least get the category right, did you mean the "hottest sub- £1,000,000 watch"?
Isn't it a 5973 p with the factory diamond bezel? Had one on my wrist 10 years ago for a few minutes. Way out of my league budget wise.
Is that where they are now? £200,000? Let me know when they get to the hottest sub ¥55,555,556 watch. Maybe then I'll start to be snooty enough to read their article.
Don't know what reference it is. Google doesn't throw up any results for 5973. It looks similar to the 5970 but it has extra apertures by the date/moonphase complication. Either way - also out of my price range!
I hope if she does have a sister, her name is Anne or Emily. Re the watch, I need an imagination transplant; mine is simply inadequate to handle anything like it.
