Calling all guitar and watch aficionados: is Bill Frisell wearing a Nomos here? Can you tell which model it might be? Note, it's on a NATO!
Screenshot is from the YouTube video, Bill Frisell, "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" Fretboard Journal.

Can't tell, but I like a lot of his stuff. Guitar in the Space Age is my favorite album of his.

I would guess Tangente or Tangomat from what I can make out. If it isn't the lighting, it might be the Hodinkee Tangente Sport with grey dial and dark hour markers, subseconds dial. My best guess.

Good capture! Looks very much like a Tangente there (or maybe its near twin, the Tangomat). . . . Go Expos/Nats!

I know nothing about jazz, but I just learned about Frisell, and I can't stop listening! And now I want to buy a Nomos!

Hi again: In your photo, the watch wears quite small on his wrist. I wonder if it's even a Tangente 35?

A big part of the look here is the red nato strap. You don't necessarily need a Nomos... Timex Charlie Brown Marlin3.jpg

Well, you learn all sorts of things here. I was aware of, but never listened to, Bill Frisell. Great stuff; glad I read this thread. Guitar jazz is so rare.

Darn, he's not wearing his watch in this video--could've gotten a good view of it when he puts the record on the turntable.

Hi friends: If anyone is still following this thread, I found a good pic of Bill Frisell's watch. It's clearly a Nomos, and it has to be a Tangente, though I swear there's something weird at the very bottom of the subdial--it just looks like something is there other than a tiny stick marker.
At any rate, you can see the watch well starting at 5:11 in the video for his great song, Keep Your Eyes Open.

Looks like a 6 on the subdial!
Doesn't make a lot of sense.

You're right, there are no other marks on subdial.
Also, none of the subdial Tangente's have a numeral at six.
