I’m sure given the nature of this forum more broadly, there are plenty of golf fans amongst us!

What with the Ryder Cup starting next week it feels like a good time to kick off a golf thread..

Any early thoughts on captains picks, pairings, predictions?

Anyone playing any cool golf courses recently? I’ll kick off with a weekend just passed at Rosapenna in Donegal, Ireland. They’ve just opened a third links, St Patrick’s links and the views are breathtaking. Three very good golf courses on the property for a green fee of €190 - not sure there’s better value on the island of Ireland.

I love the Ryder Cup. Morikawa and Cantlay are playing great right now. I think the Americans will take the Cup back to the US.

Damn, wicked looking rough. 190 euros is about $225. One reason I don't play as often, $225 to get pissed off every 4 or 5 holes.

Don't find that "thicket" on an American course to often.

Here the groundskeeper doesn't mow the fairway every other day, you have an pitchforks and torches.
