I'm sure this has been asked - posted before, I just can't find it.
    My friend says a 105.012-65 and I say a 105.012-66 w/CB case.
Which one is the correct answer.
    Thanx, Miki

Don’t remember where I read it. But if I am not mistaken. It is the 65.

That wouldn't surprise me, but like you, I thought I read the 66 but I too don't remember where I read that.

The major problem with discussing the first watch worn on the surface is that no one reputable has seen it since 1970 and we are working off pretty unreliable records. One clown, who actually shows his face on here from time to time, claims to have found Buzz's watch on a beach somewhere or another, Baja rings a bell, and swears it is a 145.012-67. The rest of the world, most pertinently the law enforcement part say he is a bullshitter, so at present it is assumed that it was a 105.12-65. I like to take heart in that while I dont have said iteration, I do have a 145.012-68 born two days and less than a hundred or so serials away from M Collins watch. Knowledge I only have since a contributor on here posted the verifiable date of his watch.
