Well almost, $19,998 From the Infamous Omegamania Auction of 2007 Hark.....Do I Hear A Vintage Watch Bubble Warning? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/132622391213
gotta say, that triple beads of rice bracelet is pretty sick. Wish they made bracelets like these again.
Here are some helpful Omegamania links https://catalog.antiquorum.swiss/en/auctions/geneva-mandarin-oriental-hotel-du-rhone-2007-04-15/lots https://omegaforums.net/threads/omegamania-2007-still-fun-to-reminisce.21569/
The distinguished provenance is that it was sold at Omegamania? https://catalog.antiquorum.swiss/en/lots/omega-lot-158-244?browse_all=1&page=1&q=ranchero+lot+244 Not even used by a famous ranchero?
At least the Ranchero might be correct. Although the hand lume looks off.....too white. Better than Lot 201, a 2998-1 with a service bezel and a (too short) Railmaster 2914-6 lollipop. Price, 30,600 CHF (2007)
2915 has just finally caught up with this one Sold: CHF 413,700 https://catalog.antiquorum.swiss/en/lots/omega-lot-158-170?page=9
Shame that Ranchero dial isn't as sick as the bracelet.... Or is it just me thinking those numerals look slightly off right?
The Ranchero sold for 9440 Swiss Francs in 2007, which equated to $7800 in 2007 currency. So, assuming it does sell for 20 k$, then it gained 156% in 11 years. The equivalent compound growth is 8.9%, a good return.
Not likely with redial, replacement hands and wrong crown. Cool bracelet but not worth 10k, and most likely not original to the watch.
Ahh, obviously you wouldn't pay this amount but someone did pay a chunk of change in 2007 for the said watch. Why not again?
