I was browsing watches the other night and came across an interesting reference 145.010. I had never contemplated purchasing one but upon closer look it had a flat link bracelet attached. Seeing this combo was enough to drive me to purchase it. The dial is has absolutely seen better days but it still has a bit of charm. Here are a few pictures for those intrigued.

Excuse me, but is everyone but me picking up flat link bracelets nearly free of charge on Omegas lately?! Save some for me!

I noticed the same thing then decided to jump aboard the train before it was too late. Coincidentally, I also have a seamaster 120 inbound with a 1067 bracelet. The seamaster 120 is a watch I have had on the radar for a while, the chronostop was a 100% impulse on behalf of the bracelet.

Here's a couple from the Good Old Days, which were actually not all that too long ago, a €350 Connie which came together with the "old steel bracelet" and a €175 non-running Seamaster together with its "broken bracelet", both 7077's with number 4's.

This is a 7077 variant with the split clasp, I've seen them also in the 18kt version.

My dad gave me the exact same model in 1970 - and I lost it, I don't even remember how, thinking only of girls & beer. The definition of foolish :-(
