·Stuart, I think this is telling you, you have two alerts. If you hit the latest button at the top of the page, then the alert button that appears just below that it will show your alerts, the red button should then go away.

·For those of you who work visually, here's what this thread is about....
When you see the red box with a white number in it, it doesn't have anything to do with how many auctions are being displayed.
That's how many alerts you have, as in "Liked" posts or posts you're tagged in (the '@' symbol in front of your screen name to tell you you're being summoned to the thread for commenting purposes). Roll the cursor over LATEST and click on it to get to here:
This will show all the newest threads (which is why THREADS is in red), but if you click on ALERTS you'll go to another screen like this:
You'll see you "Like"d posts and any posts you're tagged in.
Voila!!!!
