Got my self a free lunch from a bet early this year. During work travel mid summer, the DOW lost ~300 points in one day, nothing abnormal these days, a coworker who tends to b squeamish about the market said he was pulling out, I told him to that was non-sense, after all this guy is a very smart engineer (but a non watch collector) I told him that by the end of the year the DOW would top 18K, he said to me non sense! We made a bet, who ever lost would pay a nice lunch at the winner's choosing. He is taking me for a nice steak lunch!
It's really the non watch collector part that made me stop reading. Were you making some comment about the stock market?
