This was made in Copenhagen (my adopted home town) - for a wealthy Danish client of Klarlund (very old, family run jeweler and RSC) by Rolex. He really liked the Day-Date, but needed something a tad sportier for jaunts on his yacht. You know how it goes.

You can read the story on Hodinkee if you can find it. I grabbed this image from their front page yesterday but now it's gone and I'm too tired to search. Just wanted to make sure you didn't miss this one! It will be coming up for auction soon.



Personally, I love it. I know it's not for everyone. But it is for me. What an odd ball! One of a kind.
