Dear Omega Forum Members,

I hope you are all doing well.

I know that many collectors in this forum collect multiple examples of each reference, particularly the less common ones.

I believe that Omega assigns movement numbers chronologically across various references.

My question is: What is the closest movement number you have found within “the same reference”, or even in comparison to “any omega examples” found on online platforms?

Thank you for sharing your insights. 😀

Best regards,
Teerapat

Teerapat,
4 numbers apart on a 2577 cal 354 chronometre

I then jumped the gun and bought a 3d one which was in between, before realizing it was a redial and cancelled

Thanks for sharing the nice examples. @MOL 😀

For my watch, with its duo of golf ball dial patterns, I discovered that the gap was “only 2”
.

Very cool to see some extremely close almost sequential examples.

For me, these two were not close at all but how far apart was pretty surprising to see.
12,390 serials between them! Maybe I’m a bit naive in the subject matter but I would have figured they would have at least been closer together.

Mine would be a 105.012 65 and a 105.012 66 CB. both in the 2453xxxx range and a difference of 1300. Not as close as yours but pretty close in the grand scheme of things.

I have a project Deep Sea Alarm that has the number directly adjacent to the famous Hodinkee/Goodwill one.
