After playing the waiting game, I finally got the CALL for my Cosmograph Daytona Ceramic 116500LN!!!

My initial thoughts? STUNNING!! I am loving it...and it will play along nicely with my trusty Speedy Pro!

Here are a few quick snaps:

 Congrats! Did you have to wait longer for the white dial or did they just give you the first available?

I only requested white version so I don't know if I would have received black dial earlier. Perhaps but i wanted white.
My NY AD told me that white is more sought after than black.

Big congrats! The watch is really stunning. I'm still playing the damn "call" waiting game. At this point, I have pretty much given up hope and moved on. How would you say fit and feel are compared to your BLNR and Speedy Pro?

Patience. If you are on a list just put it out of your mind and when it happens it will happen ;-)

Here are my initial thoughts as I haven't worn the new Daytona enough yet...

    Compared to BLNR
-it is much lighter almost dress watch-like
-surprisingly, i think the case back is a bit thicker to accommodate the chrono function
-a bit harder to read the time because theres so much happening on the dial but that's a chrono
-both feel very comfortable but BLNR is definitely heavier
-two completely different watch but both exude Rolex quality

    Compared to Speedy
-heavier than Speedy because I tend to wear the Speedy on NATO
-pushers much smoother (because of the vertical clutch?). There's no jump/start to the chrono
-not as legible as the Speedy
    -much more elegant than Speedy
-fit and finish feel better/solid than Speedy
-love the automatic 70+ power reserve

Very nice, congrats. I'd have never bought the previous generation Daytona, but this one has me wavering.

    It's almost legible. :p

    Thanks everyone!
The watch is really great, looks phenomenal, and I hope whatever "list" or promise you've been given by an AD that you will all get your own soon!
Patience and perseverance will pay off in the end!

(FYI - I waited about 8.5 months; however depending on where you in the world, the number of stock your AD gets, your relationship with your AD, and unexpected VIP clients jumping the line.... your wait time may vary longer or shorter. I think I've been very lucky and I'm sure NY ADs get a nice quantity every month)

it's a great piece. congrats! I have yet to see the steel version in person. I was visiting vancover; the AD had one but wouldn't show it to me. clients who buy two or more gold pieces are given the opportunity to buy it. he also told me he was offered 25k for it. i don't believe it --chron24 has 182 available for cheaper haha.
