Hi! A bit of fun for you here. (And due to follow up posts, advice on the best Sunday Roasts).

While visiting London (the real London, in Ontario Canada) I found this funny item. I bet Canuck has seen these before.

So, follow my photos if you want a good old “meat and potatoes” dinner (or supper) tonight.

If mine sucks, the cat is ready to help out.

I was kidding about London. Who loves you?

I need that timer on a bezel.... My pub chef from last Sunday also needs a carrot chopping guide. A very tasty English Sunday lunch... but I think he used an Axe from London Ontario for the carrots ;0)

Heading to London in February, the real one in the UK 😁, who has the best Sunday Roast? I hear Blacklock is pretty good.
I do realize that no sane person should visit London in February but I can't help myself. :whipped:

Outstanding. Thanks for the input. Too bad I will only be there one Sunday. So much food, so little time.

I can't speak to any of these, but they all looked good to me.

For sure. If I knew I was going to live this long I’d have taken better care of myself.

My father survived a heart attack. He honestly asked his doctor was it the lack of exercise, smoking, drinking or fried breakfasts which caused it.The Doc told him he could not be sure so maybe better to modify all the above (which he did ;0)

@Walrus that is a lovely watch by the way.

Back on track. My first "real" watch. Circa 1983 or so. Not a timer per say but it surely works. Needs a trip to the spa.

My friend Chuck’s father was a postal worker for 30 years, ate what he wanted, drank daily- typical mid-century American lifestyle. At 74 he had to go in for a quadruple bypass, chuck went to the hospital to say goodbye, nobody thinking he would make it.
Chuck’s father finally just died last year at the age of 96. He swam daily, walked wherever he could whenever he could, lived in a retirement community in his own unit, maintained complete autonomy and fabulous quality of life and stopped driving at night at age 94 only because of his eyesight. The man hit his tipping point, got a hard shot across the bow and took the warning in stride.
Never too late to change.
