A week tomorrow I will be getting married and it is time to make the big decision. What watch to wear::confused2::
I have short listed to these two however I think due to sentimental reasons it can be no other than the 2998. Any detractors?

It is in Vietnam, don't really want to go too overt with yellow gold and I still have my gold Longines Conquest and Flagship.

Done, that's the one.... Dress watch is needed. With a swap after pictures and formalities if wanted.

Yes, Vietnam is my home these days, even though I live and work in Saudi. Complicated::screwloose::

I vote for the Longines - that way you won't get distracted by the watch and willl focus on the bride instead! :D

+1 for Connie in ceremony, 2998 later.

Depends on the setting and clothes you are wearing. I would say connie if you are wearing suits, either one of the speedies (both are beauties!) if you are wearing something more casual, watchless if you are wearing black tie.

Go for the WG -- if you go for the 2998 or the Connie, your new in-laws will assume you're too poor to afford a new watch....

Yes, the Constellation is super-classy and seems most appropriate for a wedding. You could wear one of the speedies to the Bachelor Party, though. Just don't go all Hangover on us.

Mazel Tov to you and the future Mrs. Barking Mad!

Watchless... Never an option! A dress watch or pocket watch goes with Black tie .
I vote for the Connie with a switch to the 2998.

LOVE the 2998. Dibs (has anyone claimed it yet?). :)

+3: Connie for the ceremony, 2998 for the reception. If you can only choose one, I think you have to go with Connie because it's dressier.

I would actually go for the white gold oddly enough, don't wear the Constellation as while appropriate its not really the watch you're all about. The WG moonphase is a more formal looking and elegant version of the watch you spend most of your time with.
