    Hi.
Skimming the pages of youtube videos about watches I came across this one.
Titled The 15 most iconic watches in film.

It gives a good representation of some of the top makes of wrist watches.
I suppose the top 15 can be a personal thing, not perhaps all of these represented in this video.
It would be interesting to see other members top 15 watches from films.
I have looked for this video on OF but have not found it, sorry if it has already been on.

    Joe

That is a pretty whacked list IMO. When I think of iconic movie watches, most of those don't come to mind...had a good chuckle about the "Patek Philippe" in Drive...

Chip, the designer and owner of Aevig - an independent Dutch microbrand - also makes really cool postcard prints based on famous film & TV watches. I personally think they're pretty cool, and I have a collection of one so far (the knight rider one) but I'm looking to expand. Here they are:

I don't know if the modern replica Hamilton Ventura appeared in any film other than Men in Black, but it might qualify as iconic. This one is not a knock off. This one is 14-karat, from circa 1957. The strap is a modern replica. By the way, yes, it runs.

Somewhere I have one that my uncle found at Heathrow around 1958... it's run for less than a week in the last 20 years, despite the attentions of a number of watchmakers.

The Hamilton Electric is the Edsel of the watch world. After introduction, Hamilton spent about ten years trying to make it live up to their reputation as the maker of fine watches.
