So what? The watches we wear have been obsolete for decades.

Apple's, apparently not. Omega's 1960s Connies, you can still get parts.

From an electronics perspective that would imply exact same physical size of circuitry (including battery) with exact same position of actuators/connectors w.r.t the case and electronic circuits...an impossible feat, especially when half the components used to make the electronics are obsolete in a few years (typically).

Modular movement/internals... swap everything but the case. Hence upgrades are available as they cost much less then the case.

I guess the ads are customized (by whoever is spying on you locally to your computer) via computer learning based on what you search for ;)

That may be true Squirrel!....... but for us "fanboys"::shy:: the Omega Speedmaster has a level of understated appeal that is so 'cool', it defies obsolescence!

I'm fairly certain squirrellackspeedmaster will understand this when he finally gets his first speedmaster...hell, i'm fairly certain he will even keep it right between the bollocks for safe-keeping and to feel-the-love :D

I don't get that...but then I have popup blockers and the like installed...most likely snipers sniping on this website...

They still work just fine, they just don't get new features but then neither had my Daytona since it was made in 2004 and I still manage to enjoy it :)

Well, I bought the first Apple Watch when it came out and it is a slow piece of shit now.
I still wear it around the house or for workouts, but launching apps takes forever and that's when they actually open and don't crash.
