    i found this watch.

It is too big for my wrist.

I don't think the strap is original as it is made from granite.

    The police are chasing me.

    Where can I sell this?

    What price?

Am i going to be rich and cool now?

    Help!

The bars and shutters sort of make it look like an old mens prison or something too, not the most inviting dial in the world.

Do you think the Catholic Church would do that?

It also has seating for 800 people... is that normal for a watch?

That's nothing to do with the watch, and everything to do with the cake. :whistling:

I've never been a clock guy, except for the JLC Atmos I'd like to buy one day when the right one with the right service history appears :)

Regarding the dumb questions, yea I know we get a lot of them from time to time but I'll try to dig up my first correspondence some day about the Constellation Piepan 2852 we were buying my dad at the time, Desmond had the patience of a saint with me and even set me straight when I kept asking if the bracelet which was an odd beads of rice with this sliding type clasp rather than the normal Z-fold was a "prototype". Yeap I used the P word, and even sent him more photos when I thought he might not have fully appreciated its "uniqueness".

When venturing into something new and exciting that you're really interested in but overwhelmed by the depth of knowledge it entails everyone asks silly things and makes assumptions that seem sensible or even reasonable at the time but look ridiculous in hindsight. In time people either learn and look on it the same way I look on my early experiences of muddling my way through or they leave and it doesn't turn out to be for them, but stupid questions were the start of every major interest and passion for me, from engineering to Magic: The Gathering, to Linux, server security, its part of how we learn.

    That, I get.

The current hoard of, what seem to be pickers/car boot raiders/pawn brokers that keep showing up with pricing demands and no manners... not so much.

    Enthusiasm = great.

Demand for knowledge to enable maximum profit = not so great.

You sure I can't tempt you into this clock?

I agree @dsio I take a lot of guys fishing that have never fished outside of a fish counter at the local supermarket. For me it is great to hear someone I have taken fishing, emails once back down south to tell me they have bought their first fishing rod and been fishing. Still get a lot of dumb things done after a few trips with some but it's good to watch someone start to pick up a hobby and enjoy it.
