This watch is at an auction I regularly buy things from. Many times pretty cheap. I realize it's a bit of a beater but if I could get it right, it would be something I wouldn't be afraid to wear to work.

It does run but this is basically the only picture I'm going to get. I'm thinking I would go $100 tops as I would then have $200 in it after getting it cleaned and oiled.

    What say the experts?

Looks like an early 70's Geneve with a caliber 101x. They only sell for $200 give or take depending on condition anyway, and this case is already showing wear through on the plating besides all the scratches. If by chance it's a 56x, then it might be good for a parts watch. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for it if I wanted it - and I don't.

Being that I can not tell, if I knew it was a 56x I would still bid. Being possibly a 101X from what I've seen, I then likely won't bother unless I can get it super cheap.

I'm a bit rough on a work watch. I realize this isn't something a collector would be interested in.
