·On offer is an excellent (near-NOS) example of a rare Technos Sky-Diver World Timer Super Compressor. This all-steel piece dates from the 1960s (approx. 1968), and is quite the piece of wrist-hardware. In excellent, original condition, running strong and keeping good time. This watch has a very beefy wrist presence and the world-timer feature adds complexity. The internal bezel turns freely and smoothly via the top crown. Lume is original and aged but intact on both the dial and the black-painted steel "syringe" hands, complemented by sweep second with black-painted end.
Case is in excellent condition, unpolished and very sharp. Dial is unmarked, in a very attractive champagne hue with a subtle sunburst pattern. All lettering intact and matches reference dials. Service history unknown.
Selling to cover the cost of recent purchases (why else?).

Movement: ETA 2472 Automatic movement 17 jewels. Sweep second hand, date.
Dial: ‘TECHNOS’ ‘AUTOMATIC’ signed dial with applied indices. ‘17 JEWELS’ and ‘INCABLOC’ at the 6 o’clock position. Lume has aged into a pleasing yellow hue, as to be expected in a watch of this age.
Bezel: Inner rotating bezel with full World Timer function, turns via the top crown.
Case: 42mm Ervin Piquerez S.A. (EPSA) Brevet 317537 357462 stainless steel super compressor case, with twin crowns. Stamped with the serial number 4769609 between the lugs at 6 o’clock. Measures 42mm excluding the two crowns, 44mm with.
Case back: Screw in steel signed: ‘TECHNOS’ with the Anchor logo, ‘1340, STAINLESS STEEL, ANTIMAGNETIC, WATERPROOF, 200M, SWISS MADE, AUTOMATIC’.
Inside signed with the Diver Helmet logo and ‘SWISS MADE, SUPER COMPRESSOR, BREVET, 2472, 1-69’ marking it as January 1969.
Dimensions: 42mm width excluding crown, 50mm length including lugs. Width 14mm.
Water resistance: 20 ATM / 200.00m (at new, not guaranteed)
Crystal: Original crystal.
Crowns: Original dual compressor crowns with the Technos ‘T’ logo on each crown.
Lug width: 22mm.
Comes on a brown, oiled-leather band as pictured (and which suits it nicely).
