Hey guys, I'm trying to learn more about Universal Geneve watches. More in particular the Nina Jr. From what I read this is the more affordable version of the Nina Rindt watch. Were these popular versions of this watch as well?
They've never been popular with collectors, though some have achieved miraculous prices by riding the current UG wave. It was produced after their golden age. Like the jambalaya I ate yesterday - it looks really good with a cursory glance - just like the stuff I know and love. But then you pay more attention. The rice is a little mushy... the celery isn't cooked. That sausage tastes like hotdogs. And WTF is the purple stuff?
