Thanks for that. very interesting and he's got some great watches, especially the omegas, the submariner and lecoultre diver.
( Rollies usually get sooooooo much attention ) I'd like to see one of our experts interviewed by Ben or ..... But yeah, hold that thought til I'm able to get my 2998, 2915, ....
Interviewer needs to learn how to correctly pronounce Jaeger Le-Coultre.... Also on the 2915, the minute counter ticks over at 8 seconds past - needs some work!!
I noticed how he didn't mention that the hands on the Jaeger Le-Coultre had been relumed (also looked as if the markers had gotten some attention, might just be sloppy application...). I might be overreacting
Note quite - they have the Le-Coultre correct, but the Jeager is pronounced more like "Zhey-Zher" - there is no gee sound in the word. At least when I was at the JLC factory, that is how everyone I met there pronounced it...
Ah, what American wants to do a French accent? We're proud of our ignorance, and pronounce it like (Mick) Jagger - Luh Cult reh.
Met him at a JLC event down here several years ago and can second your comment. He has a great appreciation for vintage watches of all brands. gatorcpa
